Overview
With the rise of robotic welding and high-speed automated MIG welding machines, the demand for wire in larger packaging formats has increased. However, using larger packs on spools presented challenges, requiring a complex setup of motorized payoffs that needed to be synchronized with the welding system to deliver the wire in the necessary form and at the appropriate speed.
